Six months ago, I left the security of my corporate job. At first, it felt empty and scary - especially with all the doom and gloom around AI. The constant flood of information and breakthroughs was overwhelming, and I wasn’t sure what to focus on next.

So, I took time to pause, reflect, and realized I still have valuable strengths:

  • Learning new skills quickly

  • Connecting the dots

  • Staying curious and experimental

  • A strong desire to mentor others

I kept seeing stories on LinkedIn of experienced professionals struggling to find new roles, often overlooked by big organizations and backward looking HR teams. Yet, I believe we - this “last army of Mohicans” - bring irreplaceable institutional knowledge, risk awareness, and strategic insight that younger generations may lack.

As I navigate this transition and explore new tools and frameworks, I’m eager to share my journey and support others. No one should be left behind, especially when hiring biases persist.

I believe forward-thinking organizations will benefit from building multigenerational teams that bridge gaps in technology adoption and workplace dynamics - creating new opportunities for experienced consultants.

Let’s navigate this journey together! #auntietechs
